Kyle Busch takes violent hit into the wall during NASCAR practice at Iowa Speedway

A huge hit for Kyle Busch at Iowa Speedway. Everything looked great until the No. 8 car snapped loose in Turn 1 and into the wall. Busch had put down the second-fastest lap in Group 1 of practice before his accident.
Kyle Busch has to win a race to make the playoffs. Plain and simple. Richard Childress was on the radio talking about how the organization needs to put better cars on the track. Now, they have their first fast car in weeks, and it’s wrecked.
Now, Busch wasn’t the only driver to have issues. He was the only driver to completely wreck his car in the first group of practice. Massive hit, Busch got out of the car on his own.
Austin Dillon had good speed. Kyle Busch was looking great. Perhaps RCR has what it takes to get the backup car just as fast as the primary. But they won’t have any track position. The only track position they will have for the 8 team is last-place. From there, it’s nothing but up, I guess. But the chances of winning seem to have already vanished.
Kyle Busch has ‘zero’ trust in RCR cars on the track
Kyle Busch has had a lot of disappointing races at RCR. Things haven’t clicked since he won those three races in 2023. Busch hasn’t given up on the men and women on his team, but the trust in the cars has drastically gone away.

“Obviously, it’s tough for the guys. Hate it for the guys. Everybody at RCR, especially the 8 crew here. I’m sure we’ll rely on some of the 3 guys to try to help us get the backup car prepared overnight and get us into the race tomorrow.
“I mean, obviously we had decent speed, you know, just trying to work on up to it and consistently just get better and better with laps. So, that’ll be about the same thing we got to do tomorrow. Just kind of, you know, I was probably built up to about 75, 80 percent trust. Now I’m back to zero again, you know. So, just trying to figure all that out. Lap by lap.”
What can Kyle Busch do differently? Either he is incompatible with the Next Gen car or RCR is incapable of building him a car that he can drive to the limits. It is one or the other. So, which is it?
