Kyle Larson is quickly growing frustrated at the Iowa Corn 350 on Sunday afternoon as the final stage ticks away. He has been involved in contact several times, though he has so far managed to avoid the devastating wreck.

Earlier in the day, Larson got into things with Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott. Shortly after that, Larson got bumped around a lot on a restart.

Kyle Larson had the outside track and was bumped heavily by another driver, costing him a lot of valuable track position as he was pushed way outside the groove into a turn. Larson went from about fifth to 12th before another caution flag slowed things down.

And once the caution flag came out, Larson let it fly on the team’s radio. He let loose.

“How much f****** room do I have to leave people?” Kyle Larson said, per Dustin Albino of NASCAR.com. “…. I’ve been trying to be a good teammate, a good competitor and it hasn’t gotten me anywhere for the last hour.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Larson turns up the aggression going into the final stretch of the race. He might have to if he hopes to stop getting knocked around the track.

Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott get into it

A pair of Hendrick Motorsports teammates have gotten into it a couple times so far at the Iowa Corn 350 on Sunday. Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott have been pinned to each others’ hips through much of the race so far.

That has resulted in some awkward situations between the two on the race track. One restart nearly collected both in a wreck after contact briefly got both drivers loose.

The pack was three-wide at the time, and Kyle Larson seemed to come down into the middle lane on Chase Elliott. The contact with Elliott caused him to get very loose, but somehow he managed to make a spectacular save, keeping the caution from being thrown and any real damage to the car from occurring. You can check out the contact here.
