Kyle Larson squeezes Ty Dillon into wall at Michigan, called out for hypocrisy

Kyle Larson is having an eventful day in Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Earlier in the race, he and Denny Hamlin made contact with each other.
In Stage 2, he squeezed Ty Dillon in the fence off of Turn 4 while racing for 16th. Both the incident with Hamlin and Dillon were quite similar. Hamlin had to make an incredible save to keep himself from wrecking.
Larson wasn’t happy with Hamlin after the contact: “Look out the fu*king windshield, Denny, instead of the fu*king mirror.” Fans watching on Prime Video found it interesting that Larson called out Hamlin but then turned around and did something similar to Dillon.
“LOL KYLE LARSON JUST TERRORIZED TY DILLON FOR THE SAME THING HE WAS CRYING TO DENNY ABOUT,” one fan wrote on X. “BEST DRIVER IN THE WORLD MY ASS.”
Beyond the on-track incidents, Larson was penalized for speeding on pit road, forcing him to work his way back through the field. But squeezing Dillon into the fence is what has everyone talking. Some called him a “hypocrite.”

“So Larson bitches about Denny pushing him up the track then does the exact same thing to Ty Dillion, hypocrite,” another fan tweeted. “Larson loves running people into the walls.”
Kyle Larson in contention at Michigan
Larson is a very aggressive race car driver. You don’t win a Cup Series Championship and win 32 races without having that quality inside the car. And right now, Larson is suddenly in good shape to win his 33rd Cup race.
With nearly 30 laps remaining in Stage 3, Larson is P3, less than a second behind Carson Hocevar and William Byron. At this point in the race, it’s all about fuel management. Larson is doing his part, saving significantly more fuel than Hocevar and Byron.
That should mean a lot when we get to the end of the race, as Hocevar and Byron are multiple laps short. It sets up for an exciting finish at Michigan.
