Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray had a strange sequence of events in a game against the Tennessee Titans that ultimately led to him exiting the game. He is questionable to return.

Murray reportedly suffered a foot injury, according to the team. The team noted he is questionable to return to the game.

Just seconds before he exited and headed to the locker room, Murray had taken a snap off his face. The ball ended up in Tennessee’s hands, and moments later Murray headed to the locker room to get his injury looked at.

Kyler Murray apparently injured his foot while trying to jump on the fumble. That happened late in the third quarter, with Arizona leading Tennessee 21-6.

At the time of his injury, Kyler Murray was having an excellent game. He was 19-of-25 passing for 194 yards, while also rushing for 25 yards and a touchdown.

The Cardinals are fighting to remain above .500, entering Sunday’s game at 2-2 on the season after suffering back-to-back losses heading into the contest. Of course, the Titans have also struggled, so getting a win on Saturday was a must for Murray and company.

Of note, Kyler Murray re-entered the contest on the ensuing series for Arizona. That’s great news for Cardinals fans.

Murray entered after backup Jacoby Brissett briefly filled in. Brissett threw one incomplete pass, then Murray re-entered the game and threw a pass on third down. Arizona would be forced to punt on the possession.

So far this season, Kyler Murray is having a solid campaign. He had thrown for 742 yards with six touchdowns and three interceptions entering Sunday’s contest. Meanwhile, he had also rushed for 148 yards, though he had yet to find the end zone on the ground. Obviously he did that in Sunday’s contest early on.
