Following an incredible touchdown throw and catch on Sunday Night Football, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was involved in an incident with a fan on the sidelines. He shoved the fan in the stands after the fan pushed his helmet.

Jackson was celebrating a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins when he went toward the sideline. A fan reached out and shoved the helmet of Hopkins, then did the same to Jackson.

Lamar Jackson then lashed out, reaching up into the stands and shoving the fan with two hands. The incident will undoubtedly draw scrutiny from the league office. You can see it below.

The incident will undoubtedly mar what has otherwise been an excellent night for the electric quarterback. The touchdown pass, a 29-yard strike to Hopkins that was hauled in with one hand in between two defenders, was an absolute beauty. It put Baltimore up 34-19 in a riveting contest.

At the time of the incident, Lamar Jackson had gone 12-of-15 passing for 194 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He had also added four carries for 38 yards and a touchdown.

But the incident with the fan is not the first such incident for Jackson. He also had one at the end of the preseason.

Lamar Jackson makes NSFW gesture at fan

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson got into it with a Washington Commanders fan during the team’s final preseason game on Aug. 24. As the Ravens were walking in the tunnel, the Commanders fan was trash-talking Jackson, which led to him making a NSFW gesture at the person before walking away.

It was clear the two-time NFL MVP was going to get the upper hand on the Commanders fan. The gesture came on a day when Jackson wasn’t even dressed out for the team.

You can view that incident with a fan here. Lamar Jackson, of course, is a two-time NFL MVP (2019, 2023) and a three-time first-team All-Pro. He is a four-time Pro Bowler.
