Quarterback Dak Prescott had an extremely productive night for the Dallas Cowboys in the team’s 43-20 win over the Rams on Sunday, and many people noticed. Rapper Lil Wayne was among those fans and after the game, he took to social media to profess his love for the eighth-year veteran.

“Dak I FUX W YOU 4EVER BRUDDA!!!!!” Wayne posted on X.

Although Wayne is also a Packers fan, he seemed to have no problem shouting his support for Prescott loud and proud. The Dak haters in his comments didn’t seem to like it quite as much, however.

The Cowboys quarterback threw for a season-high 304 yards on 25-for-31 passing against the Rams on Sunday. He also threw four touchdown passes, including two to CeeDee Lamb, with one interception, which was a tipped ball.

Prescott, Cowboys offense find groove vs Rams

Prescott’s day actually started with three quick sacks to begin the game. However, once things started clicking with Lamb, those issues worked themselves out.

“I think that’s an example of just playing one play at a time,” Prescott said after the game. “It wasn’t pretty [the first few plays] … each play you’ve gotta be locked in. Just take it one play at a time and get momentum. Don’t think about the last play, as sh-tty as it was or it could’ve been.

“Just move forward and stay in the present. I think the guys did that. We could’ve easily put our heads down and started pouting and griping after the first couple of plays. … We responded to each other. We communicate.

“And just like when we got rolling, it’s the same thing: one play at a time. Just because it was good, [we need to] stay locked in and stay focused.”

The chemistry coming out of the offense couldn’t have come at a better time for Dallas. The Cowboys travel for Week 9 to face the Philadelphia Eagles, who are fresh off of clinching their seventh win of the 2023 season. Prescott doesn’t want to take the foot off the gas now.

“Let’s make it three [best games of the season] next week,” Prescott said. “I’m in rhythm. It feels good. … “We’ll take it, but it’s early in the year and we’ve gotta keep rolling. As I said, we’ve gotta keep taking this momentum and get better, and make sure we’re putting the best version of ourselves out there every week.”

Kickoff between the Cowboys and Eagles on Sunday is at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
