Livvy Dunne is one of the biggest sports celebrities out there right now but the former gymnast recently claimed she does not feel safe. Dunne posted a video on social media, relaying her fear that there are men stalking her during travel days. According to Dunne, this has become a usual occurrence at airports as people want autographs.

“I fear that I’m being stalked and I don’t know what to do,” Dunne said. “It’s gotten to the point where every single time I go to the airport, there’s at least 10 middle-aged men waiting for me and they harass me. It’s these men that want my autograph. They have a stack of 40 pictures of me, or my magazine, and they will run after me down the TSA precheck line and they will yell at me if I don’t give them my autograph. It’s insane.”

A recent experience was then shown by Dunne, showing her in tears. The clip was a short one but she was in a car after a redeye, seemingly heading elsewhere. Dunne then said people were surrounding her at baggage claim before leaving. You can check out the full video from Dunne here.

Dunne has risen to stardom due to her gymnastics career with the LSU Tigers. She really began to flourish when NIL was legalized, taking advantage of her massive Instagram following. Plenty of opportunities have since followed, most recently being named the SI Swimsuit cover model.

Publicly dating star Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes has only elevated her profile. Not many couples in the sports world receive as much attention, going back to when both were thriving in their respective sports in Baton Rouge.

People across the country would recognize Dunne. However, she does not think this is any kind of coincidence. People are waiting for her even when making random connecting flights, ones nobody should really know about.

“I know I’m chronically online and I post my life,” Dunne said. “But I’m talking about a 20-minute connecting flight through Omaha, Nebraska. They would be waiting there and I’m not making content on a connecting flight. I’m talking about the most random cities. It’s just so strange.”

Dunne also recognized this is nothing new for women in sports. She mentioned a video track star Gabby Thomas previously posted on similar situations, stating it “needs to stop because it’s scary for girls, it’s weird.”
