Livvy Dunne reveals she contributed to LSU's 2025 CWS Jello Shot total: 'We had a title to defend'

At this point, Livvy Dunne is a regular in Omaha. She spent plenty of time watching Paul Skenes guide LSU to a national championship back in 2023. But she is back for the Tigers’ 2025 run, attending both games thus far at the College World Series.
Dunne was asked for her favorite memory from her two trips, enjoying the time spent at Rocco’s. LSU absolutely destroyed the Jello Shot record a couple of years ago, largely in part to Raising Cane’s owner, Todd Graves. Oh, and watching Skenes put together some magic was one to remember as well.
“I think setting that Jello Shot record,” Dunne said on Monday via Hurrdat Sports. “And also watching Paul strike out 12 people. That was pretty cool.”
Dunne was then asked if she contributed to the Jello Shots this go-round as LSU goes for the crown once again. “I had to,” she replied. “We have a title to defend so yeah, absolutely.”
Monday night saw Dunne, alongside Skenes, help Rocco’s update the Jello Shot board. Unsurprisingly, LSU has a commanding lead as its total has surpassed 16,000. For reference, Murray State — which was eliminated due to a loss to UCLA — is in second place at 7,034. Another SEC program, Arkansas, is not too far behind the Racers at 6,341.

If LSU continues to win, the number on the board is only going to rise. Dunne has already contributed her fair share, apparently. She will gladly add to the total too, hoping to watch a few more games in person as the Tigers continue a quest for another national championship. With or without the support of Dunne, the race to once again consume the most Jello Shots is likely already over.
Who knows, maybe Rocco’s is where Dunne winds up spending her Monday night. A rain delay has caused the LSU-UCLA game to stop after the third inning. Everyone involved could be in for a long one, as there is no official word on whether or not the game will resume.
“Due to severe weather in the area, we are in a weather delay,” the official NCAA Baseball X account said at 7:23 p.m. CT. “Please leave your seat and proceed to the concourse area in an orderly fashion as directed by event staff. You may remain in the concourse until notified that the game will resume and that you may return to your seat.”
