Livvy Dunne shows off split LSU and Pittsburgh Pirates jersey ahead of College World Series

LSU finds itself in a familiar place, competing for a national championship at the College World Series. One of the program’s biggest supporters over the past few years even made the trip to Omaha. Livvy Dunne is there, set to cheer on the Tigers Saturday night against a big-time SEC rival, Arkansas.
Dunne has a brand new jersey for the occasion as well. In the front is the classic LSU purple jersey, one of the team’s staple uniforms. On the back is the Pittsburgh Pirates with the last name “Skenes” and the No. 30. Obviously referencing her boyfriend and former LSU star pitcher, Paul Skenes.
Posting the new look on her Instagram story, Dunne added a caption of “party in the front, business in the back” with a salute emoji. You can check out the full post here, also having a geotag of Omaha, Nebraska on there.

First pitch from Charles Schwab Field is set for 6 p.m. CT. Arkansas and LSU are fighting for a spot in the 1-0 game, with UCLA waiting on the other side. Whoever winds up losing will face Murray State, which dropped its own opener on Saturday.
Dunne will certainly be watching and Skenes might be as well. He last pitched on Friday afternoon against the Chicago Cubs, having a few more days before taking the mound again. Pittsburgh had another day game at Wrigley Field, giving Skenes a chance to tune in if he chooses to.

At the very least, the back of his jersey will be in attendance. Seemingly all of Baton Rouge has flooded to Omaha and Dunne is among the crowd.
Livvy Dunne once again cheering on LSU at College World Series
Dunne spent time in Omaha when Skenes was helping LSU win a national championship back in 2023. As he did throughout the entire season, Skenes was dominant during his College World Series performances. Tennessee and Wake Forest were on the receiving end of 15.2 innings pitched, giving up seven hits and two earned runs (both against the Vols), while striking out 21 batters and walking just two.
Of course, the journey ended with the entire LSU team rushing onto the field for celebration. A program known for winning national championships, Skenes was right in the middle of it all. Despite only spending one season with the Tigers, he is certainly one of the best players to ever come through.
