The legend of former Texas Longhorns kicker Cameron Dicker continues, as he got a special message on Sunday Night Football as the Los Angeles Chargers take on the San Fransisco 49ers.

Dicker was signed to the Chargers two weeks ago, and was apparently on his way to a Carrie Underwood concert in Austin, Texas with his girlfriend before receiving the call from the team. Dicker had to miss the concert, but the Sunday Night Football anthem singer not only wished him luck on the broadcast, but made him an irresistible offer.

“Hey Cameron, Carrie Underwood here, a little birdie told me that you were on your way to our show in Austin not too long ago when you got the call to go play for the Chargers. I just wanted to say congratulations and good luck tonight on Sunday Night Football and I would love to have you out for a make up concert. Any show you want to come to just let us know and we’ll get you hooked up, I know people. Have a great night, good luck, hope to see you soon,” Underwood said.

Dicker still had a pretty good weekend despite missing the concert, as he hit the game-winning field goal in his Chargers debut versus the Falcons to give them a 21-17 victory.

He’s still with Los Angeles as their starting kicker, as Dustin Hopkins is still out with a hamstring injury. But as soon as the season is over, surely he and his girlfriend will keep the country music star to her offer and paying her a visit to a concert, which commentator Cris Collinsworth also wants an invite to.

“I want to go too, can we flex to Carrie?” Collinsworth asked. “It doesn’t matter where she is, we’ll do the game. We’ll just go by, we’ll do the game, we’ll go with Dicker the kicker and go hang out with Carrie it’ll be great.”
