Emotions are high from Crypto.com Arena. Luka Doncic is facing his old team, the Dallas Mavericks, for the first time since being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. One of the more anticipated regular season games in quite some time, Doncic is already in prime form.

Before he could really get going, Doncic was hit with a technical foul. Nobody would be shocked to find out it was due to a confrontation with an official. Doncic felt as if he was hit when going up for a shot but instead, the play resulted in a turnover.

He went directly up to the baseline referee, said some words, and was called for the technical.

A few moments later, Doncic pulled out a move Mavs fans are quite familiar with. Big-time three-pointers are when the real emotions can come out. Staring down opposing players or people on the bench is quite common too when Doncic is in the zone.

But this time, Dallas was on the receiving end of it all. Something many sitting there may have never anticipated, they get their first experience of Doncic drilling a three and letting out screams in their directions.

That’s how you know it’s game on from No. 77.

As the first quarter comes to an end, Doncic is already stuffing the stat sheet. Ten minutes played have resulted in nine points, seven rebounds, and four assists. He is already on triple-double watch with a lot of basketball left to be played.

Luka Doncic buys out parking lot for Lakers fans ahead of Mavs games

The Luka Doncic trade may finally become reality for some on Tuesday night. He will be going up against the Dallas Mavericks for the first time as a Los Angeles Laker. With the game being played on the West Coast, there has been an advertising push from Doncic and one of his partners, Jumpman.

One will benefit a group of Lakers fans as a parking lot has been completely bought out. People attending the game can get free parking courtesy of Doncic and Jumpman. A great move from the NBA superstar ahead of a massive game for him on a personal level.

“A sign is now up for FREE PARKING at tonight’s game, courtesy of @luka7doncic and @Jumpman23 I have never seen a player purchase an entire parking lot for fans,” Fredo Cervantes of The Sporting Tribune said via X. “Parking lot located across the street from Tom’s Sports Bar.”
