Malik Nabers injury update: Giants WR shaken up on deep ball on Sunday Night Football

New York Giants receiver Malik Nabers was injured on a deep shot in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. He was able to walk to the sideline on his own power.
Nabers actually served as a defensive back of sorts on an underthrown deep ball from Russell Wilson that landed in the end zone. But as he swiped the ball away from a Chiefs defensive back, he was shaken up going to the ground.
It was unclear what Malik Nabers was favoring, but he quickly went into the team’s injury tent on the sideline. He returned a few plays later, with the Giants driving into the red zone.
On3 will pass along any updates on his status provided by the team or the broadcast crew. But for now, Nabers appears to be OK.
So far this season, Malik Nabers has caught 14 passes for 238 yards and two scores. He wasn’t overly involved early on against the Chiefs, though, with his first catch not coming until the fourth quarter.

Giants troll Taylor Swift at Met Life
Before the Malik Nabers injury scare, the New York Giants trolled Taylor Swift by using Lawrence Taylor in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. During a break in the game, the Giants debuted the “Taylor Cam” to make fans think the team found Taylor Swift at MetLife Stadium. Instead of discovering the 14-time Grammy Award winner, the camera showed Lawrence Taylor sitting in a suite while smoking a cigar.
The Giants did this because Swift has attended multiple Chiefs games since she began dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in 2023. The couple is getting married, as they announced their engagement earlier this month.
Having Swift at the Chiefs-Giants game would have been big, but Giants fans are happy to see Lawrence Taylor in the building. The 66-year-old spent his entire career with the Giants (1981-1993) and became one of the best defensive players in NFL history. Taylor was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year three times, won the MVP Award in 1986 and led the Giants to two Super Bowl championships. Taylor was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
