After getting a victory in the first game of the Big Ten Tournament on Wednesday, Maryland is gearing up for a second-round matchup against Wisconsin. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET from the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Terrapins got a big victory in their tournament opener, handling Rutgers 65-51. Donta Scott led the way with 16 points to help Maryland advance to the next round and set up the rematch against Wisconsin.

The Badgers and Terrapins last faced off in February, and that adds to the intrigue of Thursday’s game. However, the oddsmakers in Las Vegas and the metrics give Wisconsin the slight edge.

Wisconsin is a 3.5-point favorite over Maryland on Thursday, according to FanDuel. The over-under for the game is 132.5.

The two teams previously squared off in February in a close contest in Madison. Wisconsin held on for the 74-70 victory in that game thanks to 18 points from Tyler Wahl.

Wisconsin entered Thursday ranked No. 22 in the overall KenPom rankings and has the 18th-best adjusted offense. Maryland also checks in as a top-60 KenPom team, coming in at No. 54 in the overall rankings.
