Micah Parsons, CJ Stroud to headline 2024 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game

A pair of NFL stars will headline the competition at the 2024 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game this year, with Dallas Cowboys sensation Micah Parsons set to suit up for ‘Team Shannon’ and Houston Texans star CJ Stround set to compete for ‘Team Stephen A.’

The rosters for the annual Celebrity All-Star Game were released on Wednesday.

Each team will have 10 celebrity players, as well as three celebrity coaches. Broadcasters Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith are the two media celebrities the teams are named after, and each will serve as one of three coaches for his squad.

Joining Sharpe in coaching roles are former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and rapper 50 Cent.

Meanwhile, teaming up with Smith in the coaching ranks are WNBA star A’ja Wilson and rapper Lil Wayne.

And while there are plenty of celebrities on both teams this year, including former NBA player Metta World Peace, Parsons and Stroud are the two that will draw headlines after tearing it up in the NFL all year. Of course, for Parsons, that’s nothing new. He’s a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro.

Stroud put on a show as a rookie after the Texans selected him with the No. 2 overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft. Stroud immediately took over and began producing, even leading his team to the playoffs.

He finished the year with 4,108 yards passing, to go with 23 passing touchdowns and just five interceptions. He rushed for three more scores.

Now we’ll get to see how he’ll do on the hardwood, quarterbacking a set of celebrities who will enter the game with big egos and ready to deal some damage.
