Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons was a popular player last year when it came to NFL merchandise sales. The NFLPA released its top 50 NFL player sales list from March 1, 2024 – February 28, 2025, and Parsons came in at No. 9. He’s the top Cowboys player and the second-highest defensive player behind Detroit Lions edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson.

Two other Cowboys players are on the top 50 list. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb came in at No. 17, and quarterback Dak Prescott came in at No. 33. Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley came in at No. 1, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes came in at No. 2. Eagles, quarterback Jalen Hurts, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Houston Texas Quarterback CJ Stroud round out the top five.

During the 2024 season, Micah Parsons proved he’s one of the best defensive players in the NFL. The 26-year-old was named to his fourth Pro Bowl after registering 43 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 12 sacks in 11 games. Parsons missed six games last year due to an ankle injury.

Micah Parsons looking to build a relationship with Brian Schottenheimer

Parsons reported to the Cowboys’ mandatory minicamp after missing voluntary OTAs. On Tuesday, Parsons spoke to reporters about his intentions for minicamp and training camp as he continues contract talks with Dallas.

“[It’s] for me and my relationship with our new head coach to understand where he’s coming from and help him in any way I can to go on this run,” he said at the start of the offseason program, per Patrik Walker of the Cowboys’ official website. “[Brian Schottenheimer] showed up to my event, and Schotty’s been around to try and build relationships. So I feel like we’re at the point where if he asks her for me to come in for the leadership aspect, and to be around the guys, and show face, that’s something I wanna do for my coach.

“I mean, for me, it’s not really like walking the walk. It’s just me. Like I always said, I’ve wanted to be a Cowboy and being here, I feel like it’s really just being me.
I’ve been as real as possible since I’ve been here.”
