Green Bay Packers star pass rusher Micah Parsons was injured during a game against the Denver Broncos on what appeared to be a non-contact incident. He immediately hit the ground and motioned for trainers.

Parsons appeared to be holding his left knee as trainers tended to him. He was in obvious pain.

Players from both teams gathered around Micah Parsons as the trainers worked on him, checking out the injury. The potential severity of the injury remains to be seen, but players reacted as if it was a big deal. The entire stadium fell silent.

Micah Parsons suffered the injury while on the pass rush. He had slipped past the offensive tackle and was tracking Denver quarterback Bo Nix when he attempted to cut back inside toward Nix. As he did, his left knee appeared to buckle slightly.

Parsons immediately gave up on the play and went to the ground, in obvious pain. That’s when the somber scene at the stadium unfolded.

Following his exit from the field, Green Bay ruled Parsons questionable to return to the contest. On3 will provide further updates from either the team or the television broadcast crew as they become available.

Micah Parsons settling in at Green Bay

Following a blockbuster trade from the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers earlier this year, Micah Parsons has done his best to have the same kind of All-Pro impact for his new team. It took him a little while to get going, but he has been in form of late.

In the last month alone, Parsons has recorded 17 tackles, 6.0 sacks and a forced fumble. He also had a three-sack game earlier in the season against Arizona.

On the whole, Micah Parsons is still as effective as ever in Green Bay. He had logged 39 tackles, 12.5 sacks and a forced fumble coming into the game against Denver.
