The Green Bay Packers shared some good news about LB Micah Parsons as they get ready for their Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns. On Wednesday’s practice report, Parsons was taken off after being on their for the last two weeks due to a back injury.

Nearly all the Packers players on the practice report participated in some capacity. S Zayne Anderson (knee) and QB Jordan Love (thumb) were full participants in practice. The players who were limited participants were OL Aaron Banks (groin), CB Nate Hobbs (knee), RB Josh Jacobs (ankle), CB Bo Melton (shoulder), and OL Zach Tom (oblique).

There was only one Packers player who did not practice on Wednesday. WR Jayden Reed had surgery on his foot and clavicle on Tuesday. He suffered both injuries during the Commanders game, and Packers head coach Matt LaFleur knew that Reed wouldn’t return anytime soon.

“He’s going to miss a lot of time,” LaFleur said after the game, per ESPN. “We’ll see how fast he can recover and heal, and certainly I would expect him back at some point this season, but obviously it’s a big blow to us.”

Micah Parsons reacts to the Packers beating Commanders

The Packers are off to a hot start to the 2025 season, beating the Detroit Lions in the season opener and defeating the Washington Commanders last Thursday. A big reason for the Packers’ success could be the addition of Micah Parsons, who has 1.5 sacks through the first two games.

“It’s only gonna get better,” said Packers safety Xavier McKinney of Parsons’ impact, per Packers.com. “I don’t even know how many snaps he got today, but it wasn’t even every snap like he’s gonna get to eventually, so as he keeps building, we’re just gonna get better the more and more he’s on the field.”

“We came out and did it again,” Parsons said after the Commanders’ game. “We played consistent. We gave up some things that we didn’t want to, more points than what we wanted to, but we made ’em earn everything, and that’s just important. No big plays, we made ’em earn everything, and that’s the good part.”
