Linebacker. Defensive end. Star. Micah Parsons is a man of many talents, but perhaps we can add wordsmith and poet to the list as well.

After the Cowboys’ blowout win and the team clinching the NFC East, Parsons used an incredible and strange metaphor to describe his team.

“We’re not alligators,” Parsons stated, revealing that his team isn’t satisfied. “We don’t get paralyzed after we eat.”

As you can see, Parsons and the Cowboys want more than just the NFC East. Moreover, the Cowboys star took to Twitter to add to his original quote.

“We lions,” Parsons tweeted, summing up his feelings.

In his one season in Dallas, Parsons has completely changed the Cowboys defense. His play has been phenomenal, but his mental makeup and leadership abilities for a young player have been uncanny. Cowboys faithful is thrilled with the player – and the person – Dallas drafted.

Micah Parsons is a human highlight reel on the field, drawing comparisons to all-time greats like Lawrence Taylor. However, he’s showing his stuff off the field as well — his collection of quotes could eventually rival Aesop’s Fables.

There’s a long list of people impressed with Cowboys star Micah Parsons. Earlier this week, Deion Sanders called Parsons “a freak of nature that could possibly be the defensive MVP.”

The linebacker has completely changed the Dallas defense, taking them to a championship-caliber unit.

In his rookie season, Parsons has played all over the field — accumulating sacks anywhere he plays. On the season, the first-round pick has 76 tackles — amassing 12 sacks and 3 forced fumbles in the process.

Moreover, Parsons has even drawn comparisons to the best defensive player in league history — New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor. It’s the loftiest comparison for any defensive player, but Parsons’s historic season is causing fans and experts to evoke memories of the all-time great.

Time will tell how good Micah Parsons can be. However, it’s scary to think he can be even better than he’s been thus far.
