Michael Jordan reacts to disastrous morning for Team USA at Ryder Cup: 'We got problems'

The first morning of the Ryder Cup couldn’t have gone much worse for Team USA. It has already led to national reaction, including that from Michael Jordan in attendance in Farmingdale.
Jordan is there on Friday at Bethpage taking in the Ryder Cup with the first foursomes teeing off this morning between Team USA and Team Europe. However, with the Americans starting down 3-0 immediately, even MJ could see how this was going for the United States to start out.
“We got problems,” Jordan said to James Colgan at GOLF.com this morning.
Team Europe is currently blanking Team USA with three of the foursomes done for the morning. Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton won 4-3 over Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas, Ludvig Åberg and Matt Fitzpatrick won 5-3 over Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley, and then Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood won 5-4 over Collin Morikawa and Harris English.
That leaves it up to Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay to help the United States to avoid a sweep to start on Friday. They’re currently tied going to No. 16 in their pairing against Robert MacIntyre and Viktor Hovland.
Friday’s match as foursomes has not gone well, to say the leas,t for the United States, with Team Europe possibly shutting out Team USA. The Americans now have a margin to make up as they’ll either be down at 3-1 or, worse, 4-0 coming out of the morning session.

Ryder Cup 2025: Absurdly long line for free breakfast goes viral online
Everyone is excited for the Ryder Cup, taking place this weekend in Long Island. The event is giving out free concessions for the first time ever, adding to the anticipation, but it’s not going as well as many expected.
As is usually the case with free stuff, especially food, absurdly long lines have taken over the event. Check it out below, per those at Front Office Sports.
Perhaps these spectators should’ve gotten breakfast before the event. No matter how tasty the free breakfast is, that wait may not be worth it.
At least there should be some entertaining golf played this weekend. The weather hasn’t been great throughout the week, but it’s clearing up for some fun times the next few days on Long Island, as the United States tries to come through with the pressure on already from the Europeans.
