Mississippi State DT Jaden Crumedy declares for 2024 NFL Draft

Mississippi State defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft, he announced on his Twitter page on Friday evening. He racked up 119 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks during his six-year career with the Bulldogs.
āI am grateful for the opportunity to play the game I love at Mississippi State University. I would like to thank my wife and family for their unwavering love and encouragement, my coaches for their support, my teammates who have become brothers, and the Bulldog fans who have embraced and cheered me on the past six seasons. My decision to stay in Mississippi and play for MSU was one of the best decisions Iāve madeāfor my development on and off the field,ā Crumedy wrote in his announcement.
āI cannot fully express how much Iāve enjoyed my time here. Now, I am preparing for the next chapter. I am excited to announce that I am declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.ā
In 2023, Crumedy racked up 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks for Mississippi State.
As a high school prospect, he played for Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In the 2018 cycle, he was rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 326 overall player in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

Players will have the opportunity to solidify their draft stock at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 through March 4.
The three-day event will be broadcasted throughout the weekend on ESPN and NFL Network.
To be eligible for the NFL Draft, players must be at least three years removed from their final year of high school while having used up their collegiate eligibility. Underclassmen are able to request league approval to become eligible for the draft, as are players who have graduated prior to using up all of their collegiate eligibility.
Last season, 69 players were granted special eligibility for the 2023 NFL Draft. 13 underclassmen who had completed their college degrees were also deemed eligible to be selected.
The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is on January 15. NFL teams will receive a full list of eligible players in the class on January 19.
