Multiple officials fall to the ground amid Packers-Steelers fourth quarter scuffle

A brief skirmish broke out following a special teams play in the Sunday Night Football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. It resulted in an official being taken to the ground.
The physicality started when linebacker Nick Herbig pushed a Green Bay player in the back. He was flagged for a personal foul for unsportsmanlike conduct, but tempers flared and several others got involved.
As a result, two officials ended up hitting the deck while trying to separate things between the Packers and Steelers. You can view that below.
“Oh, fight going on here at the 42-yard line,” NBC broadcaster Mike Tirico said on the call. “Flags at the back end. We had rough stuff going, and officials got taken down in the pushing after the initial flag was thrown, so this is going to take a minute to sort.
“We’ve had several plays as this has been a slow build and burn with these teams afterward. The action started with Ben Skowronek, the gunner. There he is, 15 for the Steelers. Bo Melton, 16 for the Packers.”
The Packers led 22-19 at the time of the infraction, with about 13 minutes remaining in the game. It has been a competitive affair so far.

Aaron Rodgers has NSFW reaction to miscue
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was not happy after his pass to wide receiver DK Metcalf was broken up by a Green Bay Packers defender. During the broadcast, NBC caught Rodgers having an NSFW reaction to the play that would have been a touchdown if Metcalf caught the pass.
It’s clear Rodgers wants to beat the Packers since he played for the team from 2005 to 2022. During his time in Green Bay, Rodgers won four NFL MVP awards and led the team to a Super Bowl title during the 2010 season.
Aaron Rodgers came into the game ready to face the Packers. However, the 41-year-old said he was not extra motivated to take down his former team.
“I don’t have any animosity toward the organization. Obviously, I wish that things would’ve been better in our last year there, but I have a great relationship still with a lot of people in that organization,” Rodgers said, per the Steelers’ official website. “This is not a revenge game for me. I’m just excited to see some of those guys and be on Sunday Night Football again.”
