NASCAR confirms multiple drivers to rear ahead of Kansas playoff race

Today, there are five drivers who will have a tougher go of things than previously, though. NASCAR Playoffs at Kansas will be heated. Drivers like Joey Logano and Austin Cindric, who are in the middle of fighting for their playoff lives, will have to work harder today than others.
The NASCAR Playoffs have reached Kansas. This race has delivered electric finishes and great racing in the past. At the very least, these drivers in the back of the field will have multiple lanes to work with in order to race back up towards the front.
Shane van Gisbergen and Michael McDowell had unapproved adjustments after inspection. They received harsh penalties. The 88 and 71 will both perform stop-and-go penalties at the start of the race. The Team Penske trio of Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, and Austin Cindric will join them in the rear due to a backup car for the 12 team and repairs for the 22 and 2.
Kansas is a track where teams can make up ground. With all of the racing grooves from the bottom of the track up to the wall, the options are there to make moves and rebound from penalties and other setbacks.
For Ryan Blaney, the NASCAR race at Kansas is inconsequential. He wrecked in practice, but Blaney is already locked into the Round of 8 with his win at New Hampshire. Even drivers like McDowell and SVG can still salvage the day today if they are focused and stay consistent on their pit stops.

NASCAR Playoffs at Kansas will set up elimination race
Before the NASCAR elimination race at the Roval, we have to settle things in Kansas. This is going to be a very important race for the entire playoff field. Drivers are trying to make up point deficits, race for the win, and simply just trying to survive until the next race.
NASCAR puts on great races at Kansas. We have seen it time and time again with the Next Gen car. Then again, in the Spring, it was not as action-packed as previous races. Kyle Larson was able to dominate rather easily and it was a snoozer of a race.
Still, today should be competitive. There is too much on the line for these race teams to show up with duds on the track. There are going to be some drivers who do better than others, but no one should be too far off the mark today. If they are, then next week’s Roval race is going to be difficult.
