The odds for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series title have been updated after last weekend’s trip to the Pocono Mountains, where Ryan Blaney was successful in his quest for another win.

When it was all said and done at the Tricky Triangle, the reigning Cup Series champion captured victory No. 2 on the season, and he’s now firmly back in the hunt for another title. Elsewhere, Denny Hamlin fell just short of his fourth win of 2024, but it was an admirable effort from the No. 11.

Now, DraftKings Sportsbook has released the full, updated odds for the Cup Series championship this season following Pocono. Check them out below, as the summer rages forward for NASCAR’s top wheelmen.

Kyle Larson (+400)

It wasn’t the best afternoon in Pocono by Kyle Larson’s standards, as he finished P13. Still, that’s more of a testament to Larson’s expectations and his standing in the NASCAR community, as many expected him to play a bigger role in Pennsylvania.

Now, Indianapolis will be a fascinating challenge for Larson, after he ran the Indianapolis 500 earlier this season. In the past, he’s run well at the track in the Cup Series, with his best finish in six starts a P5 finish in 2016.

Denny Hamlin (+450)

After a bit of hard luck over the last month, Denny Hamlin returned to form in Pocono. He was the car to beat throughout the afternoon, and he looked headed towards back-to-back wins in Pennsylvania, but Ryan Blaney got the best of him.

Regardless, a P2 finish is nothing to snub your nose at. Now, with Indianapolis on the docket, a race Hamlin has never won, the perfect follow up would be kissing the bricks. We’ll see if he can add it to his list of accomplishments.

Christopher Bell (+450)

Christopher Bell barely missed out on a top ten in Pocono, finishing P12 on the afternoon. The Joe Gibbs Racing fleet was fast, but the No. 20 couldn’t necessarily capitalize on it, after watching Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr. and Ty Gibbs have success throughout the weekend.

Still, Bell has three wins on the season, and he won the Coca-Cola 600 earlier this season. A trophy in the Brickyard 400, where Bell only has one start and a P12 finish in 2020, would be another impressive notch in his belt.

William Byron (+600)

The William Byron we saw at the onset of the 2024 campaign seems to be returning. The No. 24 captured another solid, top five finish in Pocono, as he came home P4 at the track Jeff Gordon had so much success at.

Interestingly enough, another track Gordon dominated at is on the horizon, as Byron and company will move to Indianapolis on Sunday. Byron has raced there three times, and he does have a P4 finish in 2019 on his resume.

Ryan Blaney (+800)

Ryan Blaney’s rollercoaster 2024 campaign is beginning to find a peak, it seems. Over the last month and change, Blaney has two victories, after his win at Pocono Raceway over the weekend.

Moving forward to Indianapolis, Blaney has only one top ten at the track over six attempts. That was a P7 finish in 2019, so he’s hoping the return of the Brickyard 400 brings some better luck to the Team Penske wheelman.

Chase Elliott (+1000)

Chase Elliott continued his impressive 2024 with another top ten on Sunday in Pocono. The former NASCAR Cup Series champion finished P9 on the afternoon, bouncing back from his Top 20 streak ending in Chicago last weekend.

While Elliott would be a popular winner in Indianapolis, don’t get your hopes too high. His best finish was a P9 in 2019, and that’s his only top ten in six starts in the Brickyard 400.

Martin Truex Jr. (+1400)

Martin Truex Jr. had his name painted across the finish line in Pocono, so many believed he would end up being the sentimental favorite in Pennsylvania. While he won Stage 1, he wasn’t able to hold on throughout the afternoon, and his Interstate Batteries Toyota came home P8.

Over 16 starts in the Brickyard 400, Truex Jr.’s best finish is P4 in 2015, back when he drove the No. 78 for Furniture Row Racing. He’s never finished above P27 in the race with Joe Gibbs Racing, but a win in Indianapolis would be an awesome addition to his resume during his final campaign.

Joey Logano (+1400)

Joey Logano is continuing to flip the script on his 2024 season. The two-time Cup Series champion finished P5 on Sunday in Pocono, and his climb up the standings after being in the doldrums for a while is in full swing.

Moving ahead to the Brickyard 400, Logano has competed in 12 iterations of the race, and he’s come close to winning in the past, finishing P2 twice, in 2015 and 2019. Perhaps he’ll add that trophy to his case this weekend.

Tyler Reddick (+1400)

Tyler Reddick is nipping at the heels of Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson in the Cup Series point standings, as his consistency continues to be a marvel each weekend. Pocono was no different, as the 23XI Racing wheelman came home P6 at the Tricky Triangle.

When it comes to Indianapolis, experience isn’t the name of the game for Reddick. He’s only run the Brickyard 400 once, but it was a solid afternoon, as his Richard Childress Racing No. 8 came home P8 on the afternoon.

Updated NASCAR Cup Series Championship Odds after Pocono:

  • Brad Keselowski (+2000)
  • Chris Buescher (+2500)
  • Alex Bowman (+2500)
  • Ty Gibbs (+2800)
  • Ross Chastain (+2800)
  • Kyle Busch (+6500)
  • Austin Cindric (+8000)
  • Chase Briscoe (+10000)
  • Bubba Wallace (+10000)
  • Josh Berry (+10000)
  • Daniel Suarez (+10000)
  • Michael McDowell (+15000)
  • Erik Jones (+50000)
  • John Hunter Nemechek (+50000)
  • Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (+80000)
  • Ryan Preece (+80000)
  • Carson Hocevar (+80000)
  • Corey LaJoie (+100000)
  • Austin Dillon (+100000)
  • Daniel Hemric (+100000)
  • Zane Smith (+100000)
  • Justin Haley (+100000)
  • Todd Gilliland (+100000)
  • Harrison Burton (+100000)

As you can tell, DraftKings still has Kyle Larson as the top choice, even though he’s run into some bad luck over the past few weeks. Moving forward, he’ll be looking to get back on track in Indianapolis, while everyone in the field will be gunning to kiss the bricks, as well.
