NASCAR insider addresses contract situations for Bubba Wallace, Austin Cindric, Daniel Suárez

A NASCAR insider just shared some interesting information on drivers Bubba Wallace, Austin Cindric and Daniel Suárez when it comes to their contract situations. Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports released his lineup projections for the 2025 season and gave his thoughts on whether the three drivers will return to their teams.
“Bubba Wallace isn’t signed yet for next year but is expected to return,” Pockrass said about Wallace who drives the No. 23 car for 23XI Racing.
When it comes to Cindric, the playoffs may have helped his chances of returning to Team Penske. Pockrass wrote, “Austin Cindric isn’t signed yet for next year but the win earlier this year and making the playoffs probably keeps him in this ride, especially considering there aren’t any ‘must-have’ drivers who are available to take this seat.”
As for Suárez, Pockrass wrote, “Daniel Suarez is in a contract year and has said he feels good about having a deal signed, which is expected.”

Cindric has been with Team Penske as a full-time driver since 2022 and won the Daytona 500 that year. He won his second race in his Cup Series career early this year at Gateway and is in the playoffs for the second time in three years. Cindric was named NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year in 2022 and won the Xfinity Series championship in 2020.
Suárez has been with Trackhouse Racing since 2021 and has won two races during that span. His second victory came this year at Atlanta Motor Speedway and has clinched a playoff spot for the second time in his career.
In June, Suárez spoke to Pockrass about his future with Trackhouse Racing. “I feel like I found a home,” Suárez said. “That’s why I wouldn’t trade Trackhouse for anything else. I’ve been in top organizations in the past and if you don’t have a voice, it’s very difficult to be successful. I think I have that at Trackhouse. We’re still a young team. I feel like the future is very bright for the 99 team and for Trackhouse.”
