NASCAR Paint Schemes of the Week: Playoffs at Kansas Speedway

The NASCAR Playoffs are headed to Kansas Speedway for the second race of the Round of 12. It is crucial to perform. A few teams are taking fun paint schemes out to the race this weekend. There are a few seasonal variations on traditional schemes as well.
The temperatures are starting to go down across the country. It’s time to start breaking out the hoodies and jackets. Fall is here, and this is when some of the best racing happens. Not just in the NASCAR Cup Series but throughout stock car racing from the grassroots and up.
Kansas has produced electric racing lately. However, we saw Kyle Larson dominate the race earlier this season and make it a non-show. Let’s look at these racecars now.
Ross Chastain No. 1 Kubota Chevrolet

Something about Ross Chastain in a Kubota Chevy makes me like his chances of winning. These orange race cars are always fun to see on the track.
Chastian could use a win. His season has been nothing to write home about since is awesome win at the Coca-Cola 600. We’ll see what happens this weekend. 8/10.
Austin Dillon No. 3 Bass Pro/Winchester Chevy

It’s deer season, folks! The Bass Pro/Winchester Chevy looks nice this week for Austin Dillon. That buck on the side of the car makes me even more excited for the fall season.
While Dillon is out of the NASCAR Playoffs, he’s still looking for good finishes. He had another solid run at New Hampshire last week. 8/10.
Chase Elliott No. 9 Kelley Blue Book Chevy

This is a paint scheme that is just pleasing to the eye. That Kelley Blue Book blue and yellow is always a winner. We’ll see if Chase Elliott can make it a real winner and park it in Victory Lane.
This car will look great on the track and it should be another consistent weekend for Elliott. Hendrick showed speed again at New Hampshire, let’s see if they continue that this week. 9/10.
Ty Dillon No. 10 DraftKings Chevy

DraftKings has been on the No. 10 before this season, but among this week’s crop of cars, it is still one of the best on the track. Great colors, and the logo stands out very nicely with the 10.
Ty Dillon and Kaulig Racing have probably exceeded expectations this season. But they could use another top-15 run to maintain the momentum. 8/10.

William Byron No. 24 Cincinnati Chevy

The people of Kansas are being told to go to Cincinnati. William Byron is repping The Queen City this weekend on the No. 24 car.
I’m not going to make a joke about people in Kansas vacationing in Ohio. I’m not going to do that. But this car does look nice and patriotic so it gets a spot this week on the list. 7.5/10.
Todd Gilliland No. 34 Dean’s Dip Ford

Anyone want some dip? Todd Gilliland is bringing another green racecar to the track with a food sponsor. This guy must love to snack.
Gilliland hasn’t lived up to expectations this season, and Front Row hasn’t really as a whole. I’m not sure if it will click for Gilliland, but it feels like time is running out. 7/10.
Cody Ware No. 51 Evel Knievel Museum Ford

Rick Ware Racing has some of the best paint schemes on the season. I think that the Evel Knievel scheme is among some of their best. Really solid design.
Cody Ware is probably returning for the 2026 season. We will see if they can build momentum this week and make something of the Kansas race. 8/10.
Daniel Suárez No. 99 Freeway Hispanic Heritage Chevy

Freeway Insurance is getting in on Hispanic Heritage Month with this great design. Daniel Suárez won’t be in the 99 car much longer. But this is a great-looking car.
This is a track that Suárez should theoretically do well at. Trackhouse has done well here before. Chastain won the race last season. Let’s see if this team can end its run on a high note this season. 9/10.
