NASCAR playoff standings, Cup points updated after The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway

The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway has ended, and NASCAR has updated the playoff standings and Cup points. This came after the race was delayed for two hours due to weather.
Chase Briscoe won the race, and the playoff field is starting to take shape with nine races remaining. Here’s a look at the updated playoff standings and Cup points after the Pocono race.
NASCAR playoff standings after Pocono race
Kyle Larson remains on top of the playoff standings with 23 points. Denny Hamlin is right behind him with 19 points, and Christopher Bell rounds out the top three with 16.
Bubba Wallace has some work to do as he’s down just 29 points above the playoff cut line. He suffered a DNF at Pocono due to issues with his No. 23 Toyota.

Updated NASCAR Cup Series points
William Byron remains on top of Cup points with 623. He’s the only driver to have over 600 points so far this year and continues to be on track to win the regular season title.
Five drivers have at least 500 Cup points. But if there’s one who has a chance to take the top spot from Byron is Larson, who is 54 points behind this year’s Daytona 500 winner. Hamlin and Bell also have a chance to win the title as they are 78 and 79 points behind the leader.
