The water just wouldn’t quit coming out of the walls. So, the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Texas will not have qualifying. Austin Hill, the winner from Talladega, will lead the field to green from the pole.

Austin Hill has been doing great this season. He has three wins on the season, and a couple of them have been a bit lucky. Can he get his fourth win of the season at Texas?

The rain came through today and just soaked the track. What they call weepers, water leaking out of the SAFER barrier walls and the cracks in the track, keep showing up. So, we’re going to go straight into racing tomorrow for the NASCAR Xfinity race at Texas.

Justin Allgaier, Jesse Love, Jeb Burton, Harrison Burton, Sheldon Creed, Sam Mayer, Matt DeBenedetto, Daniel Dye, and Anthony Alfredo make up the rest of the top-10 for tomorrow’s race. A few of these drivers would love to get a win at Texas.

Despite the qualifying session being canceled, Katherine Legge made the race. She made it in while two drivers, CJ McLaughlin and Dawson Cram, had to go home with only 38 spots available.

Filling in for Connor Zilisch, Kyle Larson will start P20 on Saturday. It is going to be fun to watch him in that No. 88 car, especially starting in the middle of the pack.

A wet afternoon for NASCAR at Texas means we are going straight into racing. That means tonight in the Truck Series on tomorrow in the Xfinity Series.

NASCAR rainout at Texas for Friday

Things are rained out for Friday. All efforts are focused on getting the NASCAR Truck Series race going tonight at Texas. For whatever reason, the track at Fort Worth is difficult to get completely dried off.

This race is very interesting. Kyle Larson is a late entry as he replaces Connor Zilisch due to injury. Larson won’t be the only Hendrick Motorsports driver on the track. Corey Day, a Hendrick development driver, is racing the No. 17 car this weekend as well.

This race also includes Riley Herbst. He is racing for Joe Gibbs in the No. 19 Toyota Camry. Perhaps a race in the Xfinity Series can help Herbst get that extra edge he needs in the Cup Series on Sunday. It has not been an easy season for the 23XI Racing rookie.

These first 11 weeks of the year for Xfinity have been dominated by Justin Allgaier. He has two wins and leads the points by 79. Allgaier has an average finish of 8.18, and that includes two finishes of P29 and P21. Eight of eleven races have resulted in a top-five finish or a win.
