NFL releases full draft order for first round of 2022 NFL Draft

Just because the physical games stopped on Sunday, does not mean the NFL calendar is over. Attention will now be shifted toward the 2022 NFL draft for all 32 teams, although — 18 teams have been there since the end of the regular season.
The NFL officially released the order of the 2022 NFL Draft on Tuesday after the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl. As usual, the champions will have the final pick in the first round, selecting 32nd overall.
If teams have the same record, strength of schedule is used as the tiebreaker, with the team with the lowest percentage gets the higher draft pick. For example, there are three teams with a 4-13 record in the Houston Texans, New York Giants, and the New York Giants. Their three respective strength of schedules are .498, .512, .536, giving Houston the highest pick of the three and the Giants the lowest.

The Chicago Bears are sending the No. 7 overall pick to the New York Giants after the two made a deal during the 2021 NFL Draft. Chicago ended up selecting Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields, who started in 10 games this season. It’s the only first-rounder the Giants will receive from the Bears.
Philadelphia received the No. 16 pick from the Indianapolis Colts after getting rid of Carson Wentz. The Miami Dolphins will also be sending a first-round pick to the Eagles, after trading up to No. 6 overall last year to draft wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. On top of their own pick, general manager Howie Rosen will have a lot of capital to work with in Las Vegas.
Finally, and the one that paid off the most, the Los Angeles Rams will give the No. 32 pick to the Detroit Lions. The price was quarterback Matthew Stafford, who just led the franchise to a Super Bowl. A trade every team would make 100 times out of 100.
