Kyler Murray drama. Kliff Kingsbury hair advice. Hollywood Brown adjusting to Arizona. HBO will have you covered for all the biggest storylines during the 2022-23 season for the Cardinals, as Arizona will be featured on the second year of Hard Knocks In Season on the network.

The NFL, HBO and the franchise announced the exciting news via Twitter on Monday afternoon.

Last season, the Indianapolis Colts were featured on Hard Knocks during the inaugural in-season edition, but things didn’t go so well for them. The cameras watched closely as the franchise suffered a shocking defeat in Week 18, keeping them out of the NFL playoffs and ending their season.

Moreover, the Cardinals achieved more than many expected last season, making the playoffs for the first time under Kingsbury. However, it was a terrible showing against the Los Angeles Rams that sent their offseason into a tizzy, as Arizona was dismantled in every sense of the word by their division rival.

The Cardinals and Murray are going through their own bit of drama this offseason, as the former Oklahoma star won’t be attending OTAs due to a contract dispute. The groupthink is that Murray will be the Cardinals starter for their “Hard Knocks” special, but anything can happen in the NFL.

Nevertheless, the Cardinals are an up and coming franchise that’ll make for some entertaining television on HBO during the season.

More on Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Still no contract extension, still no sight of Kyler Murray in Arizona.

The former Oklahoma star quarterback wants to be paid like a top quarterback by the Cardinals, and it’s evident he’s not going to work until he is. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Murray won’t be at Arizona’s OTAs this week, as he waits for an influx to his bank account.

“Cardinals’ QB Kyler Murray will not be at Arizona’s OTAs this week, as expected,” tweeted Schefter. “All continues to remain quiet on his contract front, for now.”

Earlier this offseason, the Cardinals decided to pick-up Murray’s fifth-year option. It was a move that was widely-expected, but the two sides still haven’t made much positive headway on a long-term deal.

Meanwhile, Murray is getting ready for his fourth season in the NFL and burst onto the scene since entering the league. He’s made two Pro Bowls and won the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award after going No. 1 overall to the Cardinals out of Oklahoma in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Nevertheless, Kyler Murray is one of the most electrifying players in the NFL. While it may seem early for a contract dispute regarding the former Oklahoma star, it’s evident the quarterback is dug in, and not giving an inch until he gets his money.
