Noah Gragson was upset after being involved in a wreck late in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma on Sunday. During the final stage, Gragson was spun into the middle of traffic and was hit by Ryan Preece. After the wreck, Gragson aired out his frustration.

“F***, I hate this shit, man. So f***ing over this,” Gragson said on his radio, per Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic. The wreck led to Gragson’s day being done. After Gragson was checked by NASCAR from the infield care center, he declined to speak to reporters.

It’s been a tough stretch for Noah Gragson, who joined Front Row Motorsports this season. He has finished outside the top 20 in his last six races after finishing in the top 10 twice in the previous four. The late finishes aren’t all his doing, as he’s been involved in some tough wrecks like Sonoma.

Noah Gragson has had some tough luck this year

In June, Noah Gragson finished 38th because he was involved in a crash. Alex Bowman made contact with Gragson, sending both spinning into the outside wall.

“I gave (Alex Bowman) a whole two lanes off the bottom and he just trekked me,” Gragson said after the race, per Nate Ryan of NBC Sports. “It annihilated us. It was so early in the race and that was a hard hit. It is just sort of the story of our year so far. We’ve been running good, running better, then we get taken out by things not of our doing. We just have to go faster to get away from it all. We have been building good cars. We ran good at Charlotte. I feel like we have good speed at some of these tracks. I am really proud of everyone at Front Row Motorsports. It just sucks to be annihilated like that.”

Gragson joined Front Row after spending the 2024 season at Stewart-Haas Racing. So far this season, Gragson has earned four top-10 finishes, including a P4 at Talladega. Gragson became a full-time driver in NASCAR in 2023 but was suspended by NASCAR in August for offensive social media activity.
