Noah Gragson pranks Todd Gilliland, locks him in porta-potty at Martinsville ahead of practice

Nothing like a friendly prank between teammates, right? Noah Gragson got the best of Todd Gilliland ahead of Cup Series practice. At the race track, drivers are no strangers to porta-potties. Gragson took advantage of that when nature came calling for Gilliland.
Front Row Motorsports believes in the “Big 3” young core that they have. Noah Gragson, Todd Gilliland, and Zane Smith are all set to return to FRM in 2026. That is, pending the ongoing lawsuit against NASCAR.
Before suiting up for practice, Gragson and some others made Gilliland believe he was stuck in the porta-potty. It looks like maybe a zip tie was put on the door. Someone in a Rick Ware Racing quarter-zip, who looks to be Tommy Baldwin, appears to help free Gilliland. Laughs were had by all.
Dalton Hopkins of Frontstretch captured the incident. Gilliland looked relieved to get out of there.
Considering the things someone can do to you while trapped in a portable toilet, this is pretty mild. Everyone has a friend who would do something like this. Everyone also has friends who would have a panic attack if they had to spend one second longer in one of these things than it takes to do their business.
Also, what is Noah Gragson wearing? Everyone else is rightly wearing pants and long sleeves. Then there is Gragson, rocking the short sleeves and shorts. Makes me cold looking at it here in chilly Kentucky.
With two races left in the NASCAR season, the Front Row drivers are still having fun. That has to count for something. It is a long season, and teammates could easily tire and get annoyed with each other. Locking your teammate in the porta-potty is far from the worst thing a driver has done to a teammate.

Noah Gragson could use a good day at Martinsville
If Noah Gragson is smart, he would have kept Todd Gilliland in that porta-potty until he told him his secret to Martinsville. For whatever reason, Gilliland has had some of his best performances in the Cup Series at the Paperclip.
During his Cup Series career, Gilliland has two top-10 finishes and two P13 finishes at Martinsville in 7 starts at the track. He has qualified relatively well at the track. As a rookie in his first Cup race at Martinsville, he qualified P10. That remains his best qualifying effort for the track.
In five starts, Noah Gragson has yet to qualify or finish in the top-10. His best performance came in the fall race a year ago when he finished P11 for Stewart-Haas Racing. So, hopefully, Gragson got those details from Gilliland to up his game this weekend.
Gragson’s last top-10 happened all the way back at the Coca-Cola 600. Can he grab a top-10 this weekend?
