Danby: Daniel Hager11/24/25DanielHagerOn3

NC State and North Carolina are set to clash in their regular season finale’s on Saturday, with the game taking place at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, NC. NC State heads into the rivalry matchup with two wins in its last three games (including a top-10 victory over then-No. 8 ranked Georgia Tech), while North Carolina is coming off a disappointing 32-25 loss to rival Duke.

Thanks to its victory over Florida State last Saturday, NC State has clinched its 10th bowl game appearance of the Dave Doeren era. In such games, the Wolfpack are 3-6. This would have been a must-win game for the Tar Heels in order to clinch bowl eligibility, but the Duke loss completely wiped that out. No matter what happens in the game, North Carolina will miss the postseason for the second consecutive season.

Ahead of the matchup, the early point spread and more have been revealed. All odds are courtesy of BetMGM. NC State has opened as a 7-point favorite over North Carolina. The over/under is set at 47.5 points.

These programs have met every season since 1947, and have previously met 114 times dating back to 1894. NC State held off North Carolina 35-30 in Chapel Hill last season thanks to 242 passing yards and two touchdowns from quarterback CJ Bailey. North Carolina however leads the all-time series 68-40-6, while NC State has won four consecutive games (seven of the last 10) in the matchup.
