If the Packers are going to upset the Chiefs this Sunday, they’ll do it without Aaron Jones, their top running back.

Coach Matt LaFleur told reporters Friday that Jones will miss his second straight game. Jones hasn’t practiced since he sprained the medial collateral ligament in his knee at home against the Chargers, Nov. 19. At the time of his injury, LaFleur didn’t think it was that serious. But it’s still keeping the running back from playing in some key games as the Packers try to get back into the playoff picture.

Maybe Jones will be healthy by next week. The Packers receive an extra day of rest since their next game is Monday Night Football on Dec. 11 against the Giants. AJ Dillon will continue to start for Green Bay, with Patrick Taylor serving as his backup.

LaFleur went through other injuries during his Friday press availability. We’ve updated the chart with the game status of the players mentioned by the head coach and then from the team.
