Patrick Surtain Jr. rocks Travis Hunter Heisman shirt before Monday Night Football
Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II made a statement on the Heisman Trophy case for Colorado star Travis Hunter. Surtain was seen wearing a Hunter Heisman t-shirt during warmups ahead of Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
The shirt pictured Hunter in the Heisman pose, as he has done during many games this season. You can view it below.
Hunter is currently the favorite to win the Heisman by a wide margin, as his odds went up to -10000 after the regular season finale. He posted 10 catches for 116 yards and three touchdowns in a 52-0 victory against Oklahoma State.
That brings his receiving total to 92 catches for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns this year, but he’s also been a key piece on defense. Hunter plays cornerback for the Buffaloes as well and is 32 tackles, four interceptions, a Big 12-leading 11 passes defended and a forced fumble.

His case for the Heisman Trophy is certainly a strong one, and it seems he now has Patrick Surtain in his corner. If he wins the Heisman, Hunter will do something that even his coach, Deion Sanders, could not accomplish during his college career.
The Heisman Trophy ceremony is set to take place at 8 p.m. ET on Dec. 14 in New York and will be televised on ESPN.
