Paul Skenes, Livvy Dunne update board with LSU leading Rocco's CWS Jello Shot Challenge

Former LSU stars and sports power couple Paul Skenes and Livvy Dunne are taking in Omaha on Monday with the Tigers in the College World Series. LSU is facing off against UCLA in the winner’s bracket with Skenes and Dunne in attendance at the game.
Before the first pitch against the Bruins, however, they stopped by iconic bar Rocco’s, which hosts a jello shot challenge every years in which fans can purchase the Jello shots for $5 apiece in the color of their respective team. The tally is updated a few times per day before a winner is determined at the end of the CWS.
Skenes and Dunne were tasked with writing the latest update on the dry erase board. They got plenty of cheers from the crowd when filling in the LSU portion as the Tigers had already ordered 16,717 shots, more than double that of second place Murray State (7,034).
Fans who participate in the challenge can know that their money is going to a good cause, too. Rocco’s donates $1.50 from every shot purchased to food banks associated with the eight schools in the College World Series. Last year, Rocco’s raised $145,477 from the challenge.

Dunne has been in Omaha since the weekend and was there to cheer LSU on during its win against Arkansas on Saturday. Skenes was not able to make that as he now plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates and has a busy in-season schedule. However, with the Pirates having an off-day on Monday, his plate was free to make it out to Charles Schwab Field.
Skenes helped lead LSU to a national championship in Omaha during the 2023 season and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the College World Series. He was dominant during his College World Series performances. Tennessee and Wake Forest were on the receiving end of 15.2 innings pitched, giving up seven hits and two earned runs (both against the Vols), while striking out 21 batters and walking just two.
He’ll now hope he can watch his former coach Jay Johnson and squad pick up another as they look to continue to move through the field. LSU currently has a narrow 4-3 lead in the top of the third inning with Paul Skenes and Livvy Dunne having one of the best seats in the house behind home plate to take in all the action.
