Ahead of their matchup with the Colts on Monday Night Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers activated two players from the practice squad. Running back Anthony McFarland Jr. and wide receiver Cody White were bumped up to the active roster ahead of the game, according to a Monday report.

Steelers activate practice squad talents for Monday night

With the 3-7 Steelers preparing to play a road matchup with the 4-6-1 Colts on Monday Night Football, the team is making their final roster decisions ahead of finalizing their inactive player list for the game.

“Steelers elevated Anthony McFarland Jr. and Cody White from the practice squad,” detailed KPRC 2‘s Aaron Wilson on Monday.

The decision to activate McFarland and White doesn’t completely shed light on who will be available for Monday night’s game, but injuries to running back Jaylen Warren and receiver Miles Boykin that were bothering them as late as Friday could be a factor in the decision.
