The Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1), coming off a 23-18 Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) last Sunday, will look to make it three straight victories in Week 4.

In just about an hour, toe will meet leather at NRG Stadium between the Steelers and Houston Texans (1-2), who notched a 37-17 upset victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) in Week 3. The Steelers remain a banged-up bunch, already feeling the absences of receiver Diontae Johnson and defensive lineman Cameron Heyward.

But when it comes to Sunday’s showdown against Houston, the Steelers will have just five inactives. Pittsburgh will indeed have veteran wideout Allen Robinson, who landed on Wednesday’s injury report with an ankle injury.

James Daniels, who started at right guard for the first three games, is out with a groin injury. Nate Herbig will step in and start in place of Daniels. Herbig has started 28 games over five seasons in the NFL.

“I approach every week like I am going to play,” Herbig said this week, via the team’s website. “Always having that mentality, being ready when my number is called. That is how I have been approaching it since I got in the league. I am going to keep approaching it like that. I got a lot of reps this week. Just trying to take advantage of my opportunities.

“I don’t care where I play. I just want to play.”

Pittsburgh will look to build off its best offensive showing of the season, in which they put up a season-high 333 yards and averaged 5.6 yards a play.

The Texans, meanwhile, will have their work cut out for them with star left tackle Laremy Tunsil sidelined with a knee injury. Tunsil has played in just one game this season, and his replacement, Josh Jones, is out against Pittsburgh with a hand injury. Offensive lineman Austin Deculus, Houston’s 2022 sixth-round pick out of LSU, was signed to the active roster from the practice squad. He is expected to start with both Tunsil and Jones out of action.

The Steelers have recorded a league-leading 13 sacks in three games, with T.J. Watt leading the way with 6.0 sacks. With injuries all along the offensive line, the Texans will have their toughest task yet keeping rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud upright.
