Report: Fan who shoved DeAndre Hopkins, pushed by Lamar Jackson, banned 'indefinitely' from NFL stadiums

The Bills fan who was pushed by Lamar Jackson after shoving DeAndre Hopkins Sunday night has been banned from the Bills’ and NFL stadiums, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. He was also ejected Sunday night following the incident.
“The fan who shoved Ravens WR DeAndre Hopkins, and then got shoved by QB Lamar Jackson, has been ‘indefinitely banned from Bills and NFL stadiums,’ per a team official,” Schefter wrote on Twitter/X. “The fan had been ejected after the shove Sunday night.”
Jackson finished the opening loss with another great performance as he was 14-19 (73.7%) for 209 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 70 yards and a score. However, since the Ravens did lose, this interaction is about all anyone is mentioning right now as far as Jackson’s night after he pushed the person following his touchdown throw on a one-handed grab by Hopkins
“I forgot where I was a little bit,” Jackson said postgame, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. “You’ve got to think in those situations. I’ll learn from that.”
As far as punishment for any players, Schefter said there might not be anything major coming. It could just be a stern warning.
“I think it provides a good time for the league to remind players not to touch the fans. But, clearly, the Bills should be taking action against that particular fan because no fan should ever be allowed to touch a player. They shouldn’t be close enough to do that,” Schefter said. “I don’t think Lamar was right for doing it. I understand why he did it, but, to me, there shouldn’t be any discipline involved here.”

“Everybody’s gotta keep their hands to themselves. To me, this would be a time for the league to send out a warning reminding players not to get involved with fans if they can.”
On the call on SNF, Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth reacted to the incident between Jackson and the Bills after the fact when it was replayed on NBC. Neither justified Jackson’s actions in response to the fan, but they each understood that it was after a fan may have been doing too much at Highmark Stadium.
“Obviously, both in the wrong there,” Tirico said. “But you can’t be pushing the players when you’re a fan there as well.”
“I think Lamar saw the first one, and then took one himself,” Collinsworth said. “I’m not excusing. I know there’s no way you’re allowed to go after fans in the stands, almost no matter what happens. But, sometimes that gets a little ridiculous too.”
