Report: Taylor Swift expected to attend Chiefs home opener vs. Ravens

After she became the biggest off-field story last season in the NFL, Taylor Swift will be back again tonight for the league’s season opener.
Per Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Kansas City Chiefs are expecting Swift for the season-opener tonight against the Baltimore Ravens.
“The Chiefs and their security teams are expecting Taylor Swift to attend tonight’s game,” Russini tweeted this morning. “She has been a positive influence on this organization during a roller-coaster offseason.”
Swift has been making appearances at Chiefs’ games since beginning to date Travis Kelce last season. In total, she went to 13 games. That included her first starting on September 24th against the Chicago Bears all the way to Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers on February 11th. Each became more covered than the last with it being a highlight on most games through the season for Kansas City.

In return, Kelce showed up at several of Swifts’ concerts on her latest headline tour both during and after the season.
The power couple of Swift and Kelce are back for another football season. That will start with her reported appearance tonight when the team unveils the Super Bowl banner and kicks off the year against Baltimore.

Patrick Mahomes reveals Swift is drawing up plays: ‘Might have to put one in’
Taylor Swift is a talented performer but it appears that she’s now going further onto the football field.
Swift is now drawing up her own plays according to Patrick Mahomes. Speaking with NBC Sports’ Chris Simms, Mahomes mentioned the possibility of Kansas City installing one of Swift’s plays into the playbook.
“I think it’s been cool to see the girls and the women that have really embraced watching football,” Mahomes said, via Kevin Patra of NFL.com. “I know, being a girl dad, how cool it is for me to see, like, these little girls – these daughters — and how much they’re loving to spend time with their dad, watching football. And then meeting Taylor, realizing how genuine and cool she is. I think that’s been special to me because she’s, like you said, the most famous person in the world.”
“She’s really interested in football and she asks a lot of great questions. Started drawing up plays. We might have to put one in.”
