Ricky Stenhouse Jr. reveals Ole Miss football helmet inspired NASCAR helmet for race at Homestead

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is repping the Ole Miss Rebels this weekend, with the NASCAR Cup Series heading to Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The Olive Branch, Mississippi native hasn’t ever been shy about his love for Ole Miss, and he’ll be showing it off via a Rebels inspired helmet for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 on Sunday afternoon. Check out the design below, as Stenhouse is sure to turn heads with the awesome armor.
“Can’t wait to get on track with this thing at Homestead-Miami (fire emoji, football emoji),” Stenhouse posted on X, as he’ll be looking for his second win of 2024 after getting to Victory Lane earlier this month at Talladega Superspeedway.
As you can tell, the helmet is one of the best you’re going to see at Homestead-Miami. While the wheelmen of the Cup Series always have some serious swag when it comes to their gear, Stenhouse’s is certainly among the best for this weekend’s race.
Moreover, Stenhouse isn’t simply a casual fan of Ole Miss, as he actually visited the campus and the football team back in 2014. He spoke to various student groups, including the team, presenting then-head coach Hugh Freeze with a firesuit, while Freeze presented him with an Ole Miss football jersey.

Additionally, Stenhouse even caught some passes from former Rebels quarterback Bo Wallace, showing off that he’s more than just a race car driver.
Perhaps the Ole Miss helmet will give Stenhouse the boost he needs this weekend in Florida. On the season thus far, he has one aforementioned victory, while also amassing six top tens and three top fives.
Unfortunately, he has seven DNFs on the season, and Stenhouse missed the playoffs, but that hasn’t stopped him from competing week-in and week-out.
When Ricky Stenhouse Jr. takes the track in his Ole Miss helmet, he’ll have some extra fans from the Oxford area, as the NASCAR wheelman looks to secure his second win of 2024.
