For a moment, Scottie Scheffler had a new name on Wikipedia. After his Sunday victory in the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, the PGA Tour decided that the world No. 1 should go by Scottie “Himothy” Scheffler.

And no, this wasn’t a joke. Scheffler’s Wikipedia page was updated to show the name change before it was quickly fixed back.

Right now, there’s no debate: Scheffler is, indeed, “Him” or “Himothy,” whichever you prefer. Scheffler cruised to his 16th win on tour, outlasting Ben Griffin by four strokes. For Scheffler, his third win of the 2025 season, all within the last month, and second consecutive victory in the Memorial.

Scottie Scheffler matches Tiger Woods with latest Memorial win

Scheffler joined Tiger Woods as the only back-to-back winners of the Memorial, the Signature Event hosted by Jack Nicklaus. He carded a 10-under 278 to win.

“This is a golf course that’s definitely going to expose your weaknesses,” Scheffler told CBS. “I’ve got a few things that I can practice next week, but overall, it was a really solid week. Did some really good battling today. [My caddie] Teddy [Scott] and I did a really good job of working our way around the course and not getting ahead of ourselves and putting up another really good round on this very difficult golf course.”

Others, such as Griffin and Sepp Straka, sought to spoil Scheffler’s day. Griffin, who won the Charles Schwab Challenge last Sunday, shot 1-over 73 on Sunday. Straka was better, posting a 2-under 70. Griffin and Straka finished second and third, respectively.

“You know Scottie’s probably going to play a good round of golf. The guy’s relentless. He loves competition, and he doesn’t like giving up shots,” Straka said. “But it’s one of those courses where it can always happen, so you got to be prepared for it. I felt like I gave myself a lot of chances to kind of make a push.”
