Si Woo Kim explains cigarette at PGA Championship: 'Old and stressed'

One of the viral moments from the opening day’s action at the PGA Championship was a clip that circulated of Si Woo Kim. The veteran golfer was seen taking a drag of a cigarette as he walked up to a tee box.
He put it out just before taking his shot, but the whole saga caused many to wonder what the deal was. It seemed out of character for the Korean golfer.
One reporter asked Si Woo Kim about the moment at the PGA Championship after his round on Friday. He had a hilarious and endearing answer.
“Getting old and stressed,” Kim said. Relatable.
The comments immediately following the post about the cigarette by golf insider Daniel Rapaport were overwhelmingly positive. Here’s a smattering of them:
“One of us!” one user wrote. Added another: “He’s the best.”
Eric Cole aces hole at PGA Championship
In actual golf highlights, Eric Cole had a heck of a first day at the PGA Championship. Not only did he ace the fourth hole on the course, but he very nearly did it again later in his round.

Cole stepped to the tee on the fourth hole and made his club selection. Then he approached his shot.
He let one rip, and the ball flew toward the front edge of the green. It made contact with the green just past another player’s ball, took a slight hop or two, then rolled right into the cup for an ace.

The hole-in-one provided a nice recovery for Cole after he had posted an excellent opening nine on the day at the PGA Championship. Cole went out -1 under on his round through the first nine (he started on the back nine).
After bogeying his 10th hole and double-bogeying his 11th hole, Eric Cole steadied himself with a par. Then he hit his ace, moving him back to even for the tournament.
