South Carolina at Ole Miss odds: Opening point spread revealed, How to Watch

On Saturday, Ole Miss will host South Carolina inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. While the Gamecocks’ College Football Playoff hopes are already squashed, the game will be a must-win scenario for the Rebels.
Luckily for Ole Miss, history is on its side. The Rebels boast a 10-8 all-time record against South Carolina. Ole Miss has won its last two meeting with the Gamecocks, most recently defeating them in emphatic 27-3 fashion last season.
According to BetMGM, Ole Miss is a 13.5-point favorite against South Carolina. Additionally, the over/under for the game is set at 53.5 points.
How to watch South Carolina at Ole Miss
Time: Saturday, Nov. 1 | TBD
Channel: TBD
Location: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium (Oxford, Mississippi)
It won’t be easy for South Carolina to slow down Ole Miss’ offense. The Rebels have proven explosive this season and rank top 10 in the country in yards of offense per game.
In the team’s 45-10 win over Tulane in Week 4, Ole Miss exploded for 508 total yards. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has been largely responsible for the Rebels’ success this season.
He began the season as Austin Simmons‘ backup, but was named the team’s starter in Week 3 after Simmons suffered an injury. Chambliss immediately shined and has continued to do so ever since.
South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers hasn’t been nearly as fortunate this season. Sellers was named the preseason All-SEC First-Team QB. Alas, he’s struggled to capture the same success he had last season.

Many South Carolina fans are blaming South Carolina offensive coordinator Mike Shula for Sellers’ struggles. In late October, South Carolina students organized a protest against Shula, demanding the school to fire him.
With a win over Ole Miss, Shula could silence his critics. South Carolina and the Rebels will square off on Saturday.
