Aaron Rodgers is officially a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and offensive lineman Zach Frazier is ready to play alongside him. While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Frazier shared his reaction to Rodgers being with the Steelers for the 2025 season.

“It’s pretty cool,” Zach Frazier said about taking snaps from Rodgers and Russell Wilson in his first two NFL seasons, per Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Definitely, myself as a younger kid would be pretty excited about that. I mean, I am too, but yeah, it’s pretty cool.”

Frazier then revealed that Rodgers spoke to the team before the start of minicamp. “He talked today, and like I said earlier, just said he’s all in from now on,” Frazier said.

Rodgers signed with the Steelers on Friday and will be playing in his 21st NFL season. The Steelers are hoping the four-time MVP and Super Bowl champion can lead the team to their first title since the 2008 season.

More on Aaron Rodgers and his journey to the Steelers

The Steelers needed more quarterback help after losing Wilson and Justin Fields in free agency. In March, Rodgers met with the Steelers, and head coach Mike Tomlin said the team had a “really good day” with him. But Rodgers and the Steelers did not agree to a contract at the time, which led to many wondering if and when Rodgers would sign with Pittsburgh.

In April, Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and revealed where things stood with the Steelers.  “I am trying to be open to everything and not specifically attached to anything when it comes to this decision,” he explained. “I’m not holding anybody hostage – I really want to emphasize that. … I’m just going through a lot in my personal life that has to take precedence at this point. … At the same time, I want to keep the lines of communication open.”

Aaron Rodgers spent the last two seasons with the Jets but only played in 18 games during that span. In the 2023 season opener, Rodgers injured his Achilles and missed the rest of the year. He returned in 2024 and threw for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns. However, Rodgers threw 11 interceptions and the team was 5-12. The 11 picks were the most Rodgers has thrown in a season since 2010.
