Steelers, Ravens viewers up in arms after YouTube broadcast malfunction

One of the marquee games on the NFL Week 11 slate is the Pittsburgh Steelers’ (7-2) home tilt against the Baltimore Ravens (7-3).
But for those who have NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube, the Steelers-Ravens game wasn’t available for a period during the first half. Fans watching the game on YouTube suddenly lost access to it, with no explanation for why. Many unhappy fans took to social media to air their complaints.
“Did anyone else just lose the Ravens-Steelers game from your Sunday Ticket?” Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk wrote on X. “I had the game on and it just went black and now YouTube isn’t giving me the option to watch that game anymore. (It’s not on in my local market.)”
Fans who don’t have the option of watching the game on local TV were fed up with YouTube.

“Hey @YouTube @MySundayTicket,” one fan wrote. “Where did the Steelers v Ravens game go?! It’s not televised locally. What the heck – bring it back.”
Steelers-Ravens game briefly unavailable on NFL Sunday Ticket
TeamYouTube offered a solution to the problem after fans flooded their mentions.
“Totally understand your frustration,” TeamYouTube wrote. “If you haven’t yet, see if restarting your device and updating the app fixes the issue.”
The inconvenience still wasn’t ideal, especially when you consider what NFL Sunday Ticket promises and how much fans pay for the service. NFL Sunday Ticket guarantees fans the ability to watch every game, every Sunday. The service costs $264 for the entire season, or four payments of $66 a month.
