How about a little star power for the NASCAR Championship at Phoenix? Sydney Sweeney is in the house and ready to watch the action. Not only is Sweeney one of the biggest actresses in the country right now, but she also has a thing for cars and going fast.

Last year, Ryan Blaney helped Sydney Sweeney with her NASCAR Racing Experience. Now, Sweeney’s back to take in the championship. Unfortunately, her buddy Blaney didn’t make the Champ 4 this year.

The actress was spotted in the media center at Phoenix Raceway. She’ll be watching today along with the sold-out crowd in the stands.

Along with Sydney Sweeney, NASCAR invited Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Fever to the race. She rode along in the pace car ahead of today’s start in the Cup Series championship race.

NASCAR has done a great job of getting big names to a number of races this year. Bill Murray was at a race earlier this season. There have been Hollywood stars and big-name musicians at races this year. Sweeney and Cunningham are a great way to cap off a season of great guests at the track.

Today, the Cup Series is going to crown a champion. Big names are in town to catch the race. These four final drivers are putting it all on the line today, the pit crews are going to be locked in, and crew chiefs might have to make some gutsy calls.

So, who emerges today in Phoenix? It is a Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsports battle. These teams are four of the best on the season and have all won multiple races. Denny Hamlin will try to win that championship which has evaded him for so many years.

Kyle Larson is hoping to be a two-time champion after this weekend. Getting to the top of the moutain for the first time in four years would be major for Larson and the 5 team. He is still so young and to become a multi-time champ at his age would be quite an accomplishment.

For William Byron and Chase Briscoe, they are still trying to define their early careers and their legacies. A lot is on the line today in Phoenix. Let’s see how it plays out and who raises the Bill France Cup.
