Taylor Swift New Heights debut: Pop star swears in trailer for podcast appearance

Travis Kelce may have his biggest guest yet on the New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. The official podcast X account teased a promo for the episode featuring a short clip of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end alongside his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift.

Swift seemed excited about the episode. After joking with Travis Kelce about the shirt he was wearing, the reality was setting in.

“I’m about to do a f***ing podcast,” she exclaimed.

This confirms the rumors that were circulating among fans after the podcast teased earlier in the day that it would have a “VERY special” guest for the next episode. The new episode is set to drop Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began dating publicy in September of 2023, when she was first seen attending one of his games. It came after, in July of that same year, Travis Kelce mentioned on the podcast that he wanted to give Swift a friendship bracelet at her concert with his number on it.

Now things have come full circle as she’ll finally make an appearance on the same podcast nearly two years after their relationship began. It’s sure to have both football fans and Swifties excited and could be one of the most popular episodes of New Heights yet.

The relationship between Swift and Kelce has brought a whole new crop of eyes to the sport, labeling them as one of America’s biggest power couples. Kelce joined the “Bussin with the Boys” podcast with Taylor Lewan and Will Compton to discuss Swift and how his popularity has grown so much in recent years.

“We’re having fun with it, man,” Kelce said about his relationship. “Yeah, being a couple, dude. You already know. It gets thrown out there as it’s like we’re trying to seek attention every now and then. But it’s like, we’re just enjoying life and having fun, going to hockey games, kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world.”

Going out into public now definitely has its consequences now for Kelce. He hilariously touched on this while recalling paparazzi sneaking on him while playing golf.

“I’m just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees there’s a f***ing guy with a camera,” Kelce said. “Like, ‘Oh s***, I gotta go to the restroom now. I can’t just go over here to take a piss.’”
