The Governor's Cup odds: Opening point spread revealed for Kentucky vs. Louisville, How to Watch

Kentucky and Louisville are set to clash in a Week 14 non-conference matchup, with the game taking place at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium in Louisville, KY. For the first time since the Governor’s Cup moved away from the opening week of the season (2007), both programs head into the rivalry game fresh off a loss.
The Wildcats had won three consecutive games, but had that streak broken in Nashville on Saturday. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia passed for a program-record 469 yards en route to a 45-17 beatdown. Meanwhile, Louisville opened its season 7-1 and shot up to No. 15 in the College Football Playoff Rankings. It however has since lost three consecutive games to California, Clemson, and SMU.
Ahead of the matchup, the early point spread and more have been revealed. All odds are courtesy of BetMGM. Louisville has opened as a 3.5-point favorite over Kentucky. The over/under is set at 47.5 points.
These programs have met every season (excluding the COVID-affected 2020 season) since 1994 and have previously met 35 times dating back to 1912. Louisville rolled Kentucky 41-14 in Lexington last season thanks to 178 rushing yards and two touchdowns from star running back Isaac Brown. Kentucky however leads the all-time series 19-16, and has won six of 11 meetings since head coach Mark Stoops took over in 2014.
