The St. Brown brothers will face off against one another on Monday Night Football after the Green Bay Packers elevated Equanimeous St. Brown to the active roster for gameday, per Adam Schefter.

“Now both St. Brown brothers, Equanimeous and Lions’ rookie Amon-Ra St. Brown, are both active tonight,” Schefter added.

Equanimeous St. Brown is in his fourth year in the league and with the Packers. St. Brown has spent time on the Packers’ practice squad and active roster through his first three seasons, having appeared in 24 career games. In his career, Equanimeous St. Brown has recorded 28 receptions for 445 yards and one touchdown.

The older St. Brown brother will face off against his brother, Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown out of USC, who is excited for the matchup.

“It’s going to be fun, I’ve never played against my brother in anything, because when you’re younger, he’s three years older, that age difference is really a lot when you’re younger so being in our 20s now, it’s finally all evened out,” Amon-Ra St. Brown told reporters. “It’s going to be fun to finally play against him, see him on the other sideline and talk to him after the game or even before the game.”

Amon-Ra St. Brown recorded two receptions for 23 yards in his first regular season game in the NFL. The rookie is expected to be a key contributor for the Lions offense out of the slot, where he played 59 of 92 offensive snaps for the Lions in the season opener.

The rookie is coming off a productive career at USC from 2018-2020, catching 178 catches for 2,270 yards and 16 touchdowns. St. Brown’s best season came as a sophomore, recording 1,042 yards and six touchdowns. In his final season with the Trojans, St. Brown earned 2020 All-Pac-12 first team. Coming out of high school, Amon-Ra St. Brown had one of the most productive careers at Mater Dei, catching passes from J.T Daniels. As a senior at the California powerhouse high school, St. Brown recorded 72 receptions for 1,320 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Amon-Ra St. Brown was drafted the fourth round, 112th overall by the Detroit Lions.

Equanimeous St. Brown entered the league after three seasons at Notre Dame. As a sophomore, St. Brown earned Notre Dame’s Offensive Player of the Year. In his three years at Notre Dame, St. Brown caught 92 passes for 1,484 yards and 13 touchdowns. As a senior at Service (CA.) High School, Equanimeous St. Brown recorded 32 receptions for 485 yards and four touchdowns in 2014.

Equanimeous St. Brown was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
