Thursday Night Football broadcast misidentifies Trent Williams on 49ers sideline

Bloopers are one of the great parts of sports. And sports broadcasting. And on Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime, we got a mistake from the Amazon broadcast team, when they accidentally misidentified Trent Williams, the future Hall of Fame tackle for the 49ers.
Check out the video here with the graphic.
The 49ers and Rams game on Thursday Night Football has been pretty low scoring, with both teams being tied at 3-3 with 11:09 remaining in the third quarter.
Trent Williams signed a contract extension in September
The San Francisco 49ers and their All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams agreed to a contract extension, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported.
Williams returned to the Bay Area in the offseason, indicating a deal was close between the two sides. His agent at Elite Loyalty Sports said the following in a text to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network: “Still A few things to work through but close enough to report today.”

The 36-year-old had three years remaining on the six-year, $138.1 million deal he signed in March 2021. There was no guaranteed money left on his deal, however, and Williams wanted to restructure. He was holding out of training camp as a result.
Williams has been dominant since arriving in San Francisco in 2020, earning Pro Bowl honors in each season. He has been named a First-Team All-Pro in three consecutive seasons, allowing just two sacks over that timeframe. Despite his status of being the NFL‘s best left tackle, Williams, who has a 2024 base salary of $20.05 million, saw several others leapfrog him this offseason.
